Kristofer Dan-Bergman is a Swedish born photographer who lives and works in New York. His projects include documentary, fine arts, editorial and commercial work. Photography has allowed Kristofer to meet and photograph people he would most likely never have encountered otherwise. Former President and First Lady, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Lauren Bacall, Muhammad Ali, Joan Baez and Noble Peace Prize Award Winner, Desmond Tutu, have all sat on the other side of Kristofer’s lens.

I met Kristofer at the recent ASMPNY Fine Art Portfolio Review.
Check out his 'SPACE' vimeo above and view his 'YEARBOOK' series. Watch for an exhibition in Sweden's Smalands Museum 9/15/11 thru 1/15/12.

En Foco Portfolio Review
September 25, 2010

This En Foco Portfolio Review offers one-on-one reviews with several arts professionals on the same day, in a supportive, nurturing and affordable environment. Reviewers can advise about opportunities and/or provide guidance on career development. This is an outstanding opportunity for ALL photographers to have their work critiqued by curators, editors, educators and other arts organizations.

Whether you're ready for Chelsea galleries, or just looking for feedback and advice, we have reviewers to suit all needs - you just have to be serious about your craft (call if you have questions). In between sessions, you'll be able to relax in the photographer's creative lounge and share your work with peers.

This workshop is only available to current En Foco Members (All are welcome to join). Each review session lasts for 20 minutes; photographers are guaranteed a minimum of three reviews and receive a 'gift bag.' Upon registration, participants will receive an article written by photo marketing expert Mary Virginia Swanson, on how to best prepare themselves for the Review. Read MVS's article, Assessing the Value of Attending Portfolio Review Sessions.

+40 GREAT REVIEWERS
Wednesday, May 26th, 6:30-9PM
CALUMET, 22 West 22nd St, NYC

We recommend bringing one body of work with 10 to 20 images - big enough that they get a sense, but not so big that it is difficult to get through in the time available. No portfolio over 16x20 will be allowed for ease of reviewers. Make the packing material easy to get through so as not to slow down the review. Bring leave behinds and leave behind your ego! Bring your resume, bio and statements. Read more...
