Marooned flood victims looking to escape grab the side bars of a hovering Army helicopter which arrived to distribute food supplies in the Muzaffargarh district of Pakistan's Punjab province August 7, 2010. The 2010 Pakistan floods left one-fifth of Pakistan, about the size of England, underwater and caused heavy destruction to property and infrastructure. I went to the ICP awards last year, such great finalists.
The Andrees Latif photo is especially strong.
These are just such strong images which I know will be even more so in an exhibition.
The Andrees Latif is riveting...a "Raft of the Medusa" for our time
