CENTER also awarded The Bridge at Hoover Dam series Honorable Mention in the 2010 Curator's Choice Award. The juror was Roxana Marcoci, Curator, Department of Photography, Museum of Modern Art. When my wife, Esha Chiocchio, and I first shared our photography with each other (prior to any official courtship!), she looked at the unlabeled image and asked, "Is that Vanuatu?" I love when a photograph can capture an emotion and of course I'm always looking at the color composition. Very nice - Donna • A Color Specialist for Charlotte.
I find a great sense of wonder and delight in these images. There is, I think, a spiritual "structure" to them. I can't but help think of the spiritual "Jacob's Ladder."
i alway liked realistic photographers with a taste for fiction .
